A Catholic Art & Faith Program for Homeschoolers and Catechists
Welcome to the Picture Study Curriculum designed especially for Catholic homeschoolers and catechists! This rich, one-year program invites 3rd to 6th grade students to discover the beauty of art while deepening their Catholic faith.
What Is Picture Study?
Picture Study is a gentle but powerful method to introduce children to great works of art. Students are encouraged to observe, reflect, and respond to each piece through guided thinking routines, journaling, and creative expression.
This curriculum adds a Catholic layer—connecting each artwork to Scripture, virtues, and spiritual meaning.
What’s Included in the Full Curriculum?
18 Picture Study units (covering Classical, Sacred, and Modern Art)
Teacher’s Manual with lesson plans, objectives, and teaching tips
